Yet again I made the mistake of showing up for the virtual show "Virtually Speaking", in their in world studio. The show, in general is a good idea... but poorly executed. The host, Jay, usually does more damage than good, talking over guests, being uneducated on the topic, etc. But what hurts most about this effort is that the host, the gusts hosts, and most of the audience seems to think that they can whine their way to a better spot in life.
For weeks and months, all they have spoken about is the failings of the Democratic party, and of the Conservatives (neither of which I am inherently against calling out) . The flaw of course is that the longer you whine about this and not come forward with your own solution, the longer your opponents (democrat or conservative) get to control the playing field.
I am all for change, especially when it is something that most people agree with... The flaw I see is that no one wants to talk about change, but wants to continue to work, in fear?, and not take the big, challenging step of working towards a solution rather than a continued drum beating of whimpering over lost battles in the past.
